Thomas C. Harwell
Thomas C. Harwell is Director of Leasing and Marketing for Eakin Partners, providing insight and direction regarding acquisition and development opportunities, design considerations, marketing and leasing. Tom works directly with John Eakin and Chad Bottorff as a general partner.
Harwell is a Nashville native and graduate of Washington and Lee University, with a B.A. in English. After college, he became an educator at his alma mater, Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville. Tom subsequently received his Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Georgia.
Tom Harwell joined Eakin Partners in 2000 as lead Leasing Representative, responsible for the initial lease-up of Virginia Way Plaza, an 80,000 SF Class A office building in Maryland Farms.
He is currently responsible for the existing portfolio of 800,000 SF of Class A office space, which includes One Burton Hills, 30 Burton Hills, Roundabout Plaza and SunTrust Plaza. Tom has begun pre-development marketing for 1201 Demonbreun, a two-tower Class A office development (200,000 RSF to 350,000 RSF).
Recently, the general partners raised their second real estate investment equity fund, and have completed their first transaction: the 4th & Commerce Building, which contains 50,000 SF of commercial space and 658 parking spaces.
