Mike McGuffin
Mike McGuffin serves as Managing Director of Eakin Partners' Retail Division, actively identifying acquisition opportunities for EP Fund II, Eakin Partners' second real estate fund.
Mike has 15 years of retail development and leasing experience, and has participated in more than $150 million in retail developments throughout the Southeast.
A graduate of Southern Methodist University with a B.S. degree in Economics/Finance, Mike also has an M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee.
Mike started his development career as Vice President of Holrob Investments, LLC (1997 to 2004) in Knoxville. From 2004 to 2006, he served as the Director of Shopping Center Development for Newton Oldacre McDonald. During his tenure there, he was principally involved in the leasing and development of such projects as Nashville West, TigerTown and The Highlands, all regional shopping centers anchored by Target.
Just prior to his current position, Mike was a partner with Weston Companies, establishing their retail division for the Nashville market.
He joined Eakin Partners in 2008 to develop a retail division, concentrating on development, leasing, management and retail property acquisitions.
His clients include such recognizable names as Target, Best Buy, Costco, Wal-Mart, Barnes & Noble, Kroger, Staples, Hobby Lobby, Books-A-Million, Kohl's, and many others. His expertise ranges from free-standing build-to-suits and neighborhood shopping centers to regional power-centers.
Mike is married, and has three children.
